Minspeak Programs Around the World

Under the guiding hand of Semantic Compaction Systems, Minspeak programs have been developed and continue to be developed for individuals around the world. Each program - called a Minspeak Application Program or MAP - has a set of icons and vocabulary unique for the language spoken in that country.

Minspeak Conferences

Conferences have been held around the world dedicated to the discussion and application of Minspeak with individuals with a range of disabilities. The first US Minspeak conference was held in 1986, followed by the first European Minspeak Conference in 1989. Proceedings from these conferences are being added to this website as they become available electronically.
